I only wish I had time to go.

This is what the email says:

Mind Mapping is a technique for improving one’s creativity and effectiveness in the work place and beyond. The technique is powerful because it is closely aligned with the natural thinking processes of the brain – it removes many of the self-imposed, creativity killing constraints taught by our traditional educational systems. In its simplest form, it is a pictorially-based outlining technique that builds on relationships. Mind Mapping is a superior technique for:

· Creating a work breakdown structure for a project plan,

· Taking meeting notes or lecture notes,

· Taking notes associated with reading assignments,

· Creating and organizing “to do” lists,

· Preparing written materials such as memos, reports, and proposals,

· Preparing slide show materials for verbal presentations,

· Planning and managing meetings, and

· Brainstorming

At GTRI many employees use it daily. Here is a list of some GTRI users:

And from (deleted): "lots of people in my lab us it."

The course will be held on April 25, 2007 in CRB 119 from 8:30 to 12:00.
